I Love Our Baby Girl

I love our baby girl. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes knowing the gender. The words "the baby" are replaced with "her/she" and suddenly she is no longer an abstract thought, she is a concrete human being. Then we started calling her by a name: Violet. This creates a greater impact and adds to the reality of having a child. SHE is our little GIRL, and we call her VIOLET. I love her very much. Last night I became scared to let her out of my womb, not because of the physical pain I would feel from that, but because I don't ever want anything to happen to her! I'm afraid I will be one of those crazy moms who can't bear to see their child in pain. I never totally grasped the love of a mother until I became one. Maybe after all the sleepless nights and exhausting days of taking care of a child helps you become more level headed, but all I know is that right now I NEVER want anything to happen to my baby. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost her, or if she was sick, or if she were so sad. It would break me. What is it about being a mother that makes you feel this way? I'm not sure. But I feel it. And I love my little Violet.

Here are the latest pictures of our little girl! She was super cute, though she looked like a skeleton. :) She had her legs crossed at her ankles and you could see her sucking on her hand! Super cute! We love you Violet and can't wait to hold you in our arms!

The Big News

We are expecting a baby in January!! And we are so excited! We had our first ultrasound on the 4th and the baby was very healthy and wiggly. It looked like it was dancing! It was so cute!
We think it is going to be a boy, but we would love to have a girl too!
Here is a music video of the ultrasound!

We love this video! And we love our baby!

Party time!

So James and I got to dress up for a birthday party. The theme was 80's dress. We had some fun with it. Our friend was turning 21 so there were many non-alcoholic drinking games played! It was fun! There was root beer pong, jello and sprite shots, and margaritas!!

Hey family!

Well i never remember to blog...so i figured i would give and update on our lil family.
James and I are working. But I don't get much work since i am just substituting. I try to keep the house looking sharp and help James on his web sites that he is developing (He is doing one for his aunts dental shop and hopefully one for Bear River). Chelsea lives with us now (she is my beloved cousin) and has so for a couple months. Its gone very well! We three are very compatible. Unfortunately I have to share Chelsea now, becasue she got a boyfriend. Ohhh well. :) James and I try not to be lame. So we like to do lots of weird things like go play rock band at K-mart, play with the toys at wal-mart, watch movies in the tub with lots of treats, and play our wii games!

So yeah, we are doing well...just trying to finish school, pay the bills, and keeping it crazy!!

James and I should both finish school this December!!! Woo hoo!!!
